Packaging & Shipping
Shipping Date
Unless otherwise requested, we typically ship your package on the first
shipping date after we receive your order. Our shipping dates are Tuesdays through Thursdays. We will only ship our crab cakes overnight to insure that they arrive in superb condition. We are not able to deliver on holidays recognized by FedEx (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas)
When placing your order, you will be asked for your requested shipping
date. We will make every effort to ship your product on that date. If
that is not possible, we will contact you with the revised shipping
date. Your product will arrive on the day after shipment.
We live and work on the coast of Maine. Winter months are very exciting here. We will have an occasional "snow day" where FedEx, despite its best efforts, cannot promise that our packages will be delivered on time. On those occasions, we will reschedule shipments as weather allows. We will do our best to notify all affected customers of these delays.

Gift Certificates
Our gift certificates are mailed within 24 hours of receipt of the order, and are sent by the United States Mail. You should count on at least a week for receipt.
Packaging
Our crab cakes are perishable and must be specially packaged to insure that you receive them in perfect condition. We send them fresh, and to further insure freshness we carefully pack our crab cakes in reusable insulated containers with reusable frozen gel packs.
Package Delivery
All of our packages are shipped signature release. This means FedEx will
leave the package without requiring a signature.
If you live in an area of high temperatures and will not be available to accept delivery, please arrange for someone to pick up and refrigerate the crab cakes until you return. Thank You.
